Patrick Dangerfield is set to take on Collingwood after overcoming an ankle complaint.

Dangerfield sustained an ankle injury in Adelaide’s Round Seven loss to Melbourne. The two-time All Australian was confined to a moon boot and crutches last week, but trained with teammates at the Club’s main session at Adelaide Oval on Monday.

The Crows will be bolstered by the returns of Taylor Walker and Richard Douglas for Thursday night’s clash with Collingwood, but will need to find a replacement for injured pair Tom Lynch (jaw) and Matthew Jaensch (ribs).

The Pies are expected to recall three defenders for the blockbuster match.
