Defender Sam Shaw and young midfielder Matt Crouch are both expected to be available for selection in Round One.

Shaw experienced tightness in his hamstring/gluteal in the opening quarter of Adelaide’s win over Greater Western Sydney on Friday and took no further part in the game as a precaution. Crouch, who travelled with the team to Sydney, was a late withdrawal after coming down with tonsillitis the night before the match.

Tom Lynch (shoulder) and Andy Otten (knee) will both have scans to determine the extent of their respective injuries. Richard Douglas, who sustained a heavy knock to his groin, spent Friday night in Sydney’s Westmead Hospital but is expected to return to Adelaide over the weekend.

The Club will provide further updates on the injuries to Lynch, Otten and Douglas when information comes to hand.
