Bernie Vince is unsure of the reception he will receive when he returns to Adelaide for the first time as a Demon.

A popular figure during his time at the Crows, Vince was traded by Adelaide to Melbourne for pick No.23 at the end of the 2013 season.

The classy midfielder said there would be a few nerves when he runs out against his old club on Saturday afternoon.

"I don't know how it's going to be. It's going to be a little bit weird … it's going to be good fun," he said.

A former Crows Club Champion, Vince also said he hopes former housemate Taylor Walker will be passed as fit to play in his first AFL game this season against the Demons.

Walker returned via the SANFL last Friday night and booted three goals in front of a 10,000-strong crowd at Glenelg Oval.

"I think he should come straight back in, it'll be a bit of fun playing against him," Vince said.

"It'll be interesting to see whether he does get up.”
