Another busy midfield performance by Jarryd Lyons was not enough to save Glenelg from securing the SANFL wooden spoon.

Lyons was one of Glenelg’s best in its 63-point loss to Central District at Elizabeth on Saturday, collecting 30 possessions.

Matthew Jaensch was one of the best afield at Unley yesterday but despite his effort Sturt went down to South Adelaide by 12 points.

North Adelaide had the bye.

There is one more round of home-and-away games in the SANFL this weekend before the finals.
