The Adelaide Football Club confirms that a Crows member was ejected from AAMI Stadium during Sunday’s game and fined by the SA Police for an alleged incident involving racial vilification of a Geelong player.

Crows chief operation officer Nigel Smart said the man had been banned for the rest of the season but the Club was continuing to investigate the matter to seek additional details on the incident.

“However, the Club views any incident of racial vilification as totally unacceptable and reminds supporters of the need for respectful and appropriate conduct at AFL matches,” he said.
