Round 1 – The Crows have won three of their last four opening round matches, and will be aiming to add Essendon’s scalp at AAMI Stadium on Friday night, March 22.

2 – Players in the Adelaide team originally selected as top-10 national draft picks, Patrick Dangerfield (No.10 in the 2007 AFL Draft) and Richard Tambling (No.4 to Richmond in the 2004 AFL Draft). This is the fewest of any AFL club in the competition this year. Greater Western Sydney lead the way with 15. Carlton and Essendon each have eight. Reigning premiers the Sydney Swans have three top-10 national draft selections on their list.

3 – Home and away games the Crows will play at the MCG this year.

5 – New faces on the Club’s senior list – Rory Atkins, Brad Crouch, Angus Graham, Sam Siggins and Ian Callinan, who has been elevated from the rookie list.

9 – Current senior-listed Crows, who started their careers as rookies. Adelaide has more former rookie-listed players in its primary squad than any other AFL club this year: Ian Callinan, Ben Rutten, Matt Jaensch, Brodie Martin, Jared Petrenko, Sam Jacobs (Carlton), Matthew Wright, Ricky Henderson and Aidan Riley. Most recently selected in the pre-season draft, Jason Porplyzia also spent time on the rookie list.

12 – Members of the current squad yet to make their AFL debut – Rory Atkins, Brad Crouch, Ben Dowdell, Cam Ellis-Yolmen, Mitch Grigg, Kyle Hartigan, Nick Joyce, Tim Klaosen, Rory Laird, Dylan Orval, Sam Siggins and Jack Osborn. Another 10 Crows have played fewer than 20 games.

12 – Crows home and away games (including both Showdowns) remaining at AAMI Stadium.

18 – South Australians in the Crows squad.

18 – Draftee Rory Atkins is the youngest player at West Lakes. Atkins doesn’t turn 19 until July.

20 – Victorians on the Club’s senior and rookie lists. The Crows also have four New South Welshmen, three Tasmanians. Nathan van Berlo (WA) and Richard Tambling (NT) are the sole representatives from their home states.

23 years and 268 days – the team’s average age this season – the 10th oldest in the AFL. Greater Western Sydney has the youngest squad (21 years and 173 days).

30 years – Graham Johncock’s age at the start of the season. Johncock replaces retired defender Michael Doughty as the oldest Crow.

56.7 – average games played by the 2013 squad – ranked 13th in the competition.

72 – Coach Brenton Sanderson’s winning percentage heading into season 2013. Sando coached Adelaide to 18 wins from 25 games in his first year at the helm.

172cm – Ian Callinan remains the shortest Crow. Rookies Tim McIntyre and Rory Laird are both 176cm tall.

186.3cm – the 2013 squad’s average height, making the Crows the shortest primary squad in the League this year. However, this figure doesn't include rookie-listed players like 205cm Jack Osborn and the 200cm Ben Dowdell.

205cm – Osborn has assumed the mantle as the tallest player at West Lakes. At 107kg the former basketballer is also the heaviest. Ruckman Angus Graham tips the scales at 106kg.
