Chris Knights, Brodie Martin and untried duo Sam Kerridge and Sam Shaw have been included in the Crows’ 25-man squad to play Hawthorn at the MCG on Sunday.
Richard Douglas (hamstring) is the only confirmed change to the team that beat the Western Bulldogs last weekend. The squad will be trimmed to 22 on Friday afternoon.

Coach Brenton Sanderson said the Club had some options at the selection table.

“There were a few guys we had to test at the training session this afternoon, but he (Douglas) will probably be the only guy injury-wise, who will be out,” Sanderson said on Thursday.

“Everyone else, who had a little knock, has ticked the box.

“We could (make another change based on form) … you can’t rest on your laurels at the moment because there are guys playing really good footy in the SANFL and that’s putting pressure on the guys in the 22.

“We could do like-for-like (change for Douglas), or shuffle up our structure a little bit and bring in a mid or another defender. There are a lot of things you have to consider in terms of team balance.”

The squad is:

B: Johncock, Rutten, Otten

HB: Reilly, Talia, Smith

C: Sloane, Dangerfield, Mackay

HF: Vince, Lynch, Callinan

F: Porplyzia, Tippett, Walker

R: Jacobs, S. Thompson, van Berlo

I/C from: Doughty, Henderson, Kerridge, Knights, Martin, Petrenko, Shaw

In to 25: Kerridge, Knights, Martin, Shaw

Out: Douglas (hamstring)
