Scott Thompson was voted best on ground for the second week in a row by the coaches in round 15.

The midfielder had 29 possessions, four inside 50s and 10 centre clearances in another dominant performance.

Kurt Tippett received five votes for his four goal haul while Scott Stevens also received five votes after he collected 18 disposals and 12 marks in defence.

Simon Goodwin still leads Adelaide’s voting after 15 rounds with 33 votes, only four ahead of Thompson on 29 with Tippett third on 25. Luke Hodge holds a narrow lead in the overall standings with 72 votes, three ahead of Dane Swan.

In the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year, head coaches vote each week on a 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 basis. Coaches' vote only on their own matches, but may vote for players on the opposing team.
