A year after knee surgery, Brodie Martin has been recalled for Sunday’s game against the Western Bulldogs at AAMI Stadium.

The wingman or half-back was today named in Adelaide’s final 22, along with half-forward Chris Knights, not seen at AFL level since round five, and defender Graham Johncock.

James Sellar, Phil Davis and Matthew Jaensch are the emergencies.

Patrick Dangerfield (hand), Jack Gunston and Matthew Jaensch are missing from the team that lost to Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.

Martin, who made his AFL debut late last season but needed a knee reconstruction after he was injured in his second game, has shown steady improvement in the past month with SANFL club Sturt.

Knights, a star in 2009 with 43 goals from 20 games, has battled a foot problem for most of the year and most recently suffered a side strain three weeks ago in the SANFL.

Adelaide has a light run on Saturday at 9.45am at Max Basheer Reserve.
