Stepping up
Matthew Wright posted a season-high 126 DT points after collecting an impressive 32 possessions and nine marks. He has improved by $41,900 in value this season and has averaged 99.3pts in the past three rounds. The hard-running 22-year-old has relished his increased opportunity to play throughout the midfield and it has reflected in his rising DT scores.

Purple Patch
After his dominant 61 hit-outs in round 15, Sam Jacobs was at his best again against the GWS Giants last weekend scoring 122 Dream Team points. He kicked 20 disposals, 21-hit-outs and two goals.

Promising signs
Young defender Sam Shaw scored a solid 84 DT points against GWS, despite spending nearly a quarter on the bench after copping a knock to the head from a Sherrin. He had 16 disposals, eight marks and is definitely a player worth considering picking up for the last seven rounds.
