Don Pyke would have been forgiven for having a relaxing off-season after a long 2017 season.

Instead, the Crows senior coach ventured overseas to continue learning and take part in a leadership conference.

The Sport Performance Summit in London was attended by some of the brightest minds in both sport and business.

Guest speakers came from across the world and all walks of life, including the English Premier League, NBA, Formula One and emergency response teams.

On this week’s season premiere of The Crows Show, brought to you by Foodland, Pyke talks about the experience.

“I was fortunate enough to spend a day with a number of other coaches and managers from some international sports and it was pretty much a roundtable discussion about what are we facing as coaches,” Pyke said.

“At the end of it, I spent some time with Eddie Jones and UK Rugby ahead of their game against Argentina at Twickenham.”

Also on the show, dual premiership captain Mark Bickley talks about trends he expects to see in the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

We catch up with injured Crow Brodie Smith who talks about his visit to US-based rehab specialist Bill Knowles, and South Australian footy legend Graham Cornes takes us back to one of his most memorable playing moments.

For the full interviews and more behind-the-scenes insights tune in to Channel Seven at 3.30pm on Saturday for The Crows Show, brought to you by Foodland.

The show will then be available on our website and app. It is also replayed nationally on 7Mate early in the week. Please check your local TV guides.
