Two young Crows have returned to the side for Friday night’s clash with Essendon at AAMI Stadium.

Needing to replace the injured Richard Douglas (ankle) and Ian Callinan (hamstring), Adelaide has recalled Brodie Smith and Ricky Henderson.

Smith, who made his AFL debut in round one, played the first nine games of the season before he was sidelined by a hip injury and then returned through the SANFL. Henderson was concussed against Geelong three weeks ago but used Adelaide’s bye last weekend to play in the SANFL with Central District.

The game, Adelaide’s only Friday night home game of the season, starts at 8.10pm.
