Adelaide signed North Melbourne VFLW utility Jemmika Douglas as a replacement player for the 2026 AFLW season. The utility, who made her VFLW debut for the Kangaroos in 2025 after being a member of Richmond’s Indigenous Next Generation Academy, played six league games in 2026, averaging 18.6 touches a game, along with five marks and two tackles. Douglas, who stands at 166cm, represented Vic Country at Under-18 level, before moving into the VFLW where she was part of the Kangaroos' 2025 VFLW premiership side.
