The Adelaide Football Club has held the first drop-in information session with the community to discuss the Club’s proposed Thebarton Oval re-development.

The session at the West Adelaide Football Club on Thursday was well attended by residents and those seeking further information on the project.

“It was a very worthwhile meeting and an important part of our community engagement plan,” Crows Chief Operating Officer Shane Smallacombe said.

“We had consultants on hand to talk about all areas of the project and provided an opportunity for the community to speak with us directly.

“It enabled us to gain a further understanding of what the community concerns are, as well as discussing what aspects of the project could work for the community.

“That feedback will continue to shape how the project evolves and help us in preparing the master plan.”

The next drop-in information session will be held this Saturday at 9am at the West Adelaide Football Club.
