New Crow Jordan Dawson will don the number 12 on his Adelaide guernsey.

The former Swan arrived at West Lakes via the trade period in October after a deal was struck with Sydney.

The number 12 was previously worn by Daniel Talia, who played 200 games for the Crows.

Pick No. 6 in this year’s National Draft, Josh Rachele, will wear number eight following Jake Kelly’s free agency move to Essendon.

The 18-year-old, along with the other draftees, arrived at the Crows for pre-season training on Monday, following the National Draft in late November.

Pick No. 36 Jake Soligo has inherited the number 14 from the recently retired David Mackay.

The Eastern Ranges product will be hoping to replicate Mackay’s longevity, with the former 14 having played 248 games at AFL level.

Pick No. 44 Zac Taylor will be the first player in nearly three years to wear 19, following Jackson Edwards 2018 season in the guernsey.

The number has been semi-retired since Patrick Dangerfield made the switch to 32 in 2009.

Rounding out the draftee playing numbers is pre-season selection Luke Nankvervis, who will wear 27. 

Mid-season draft recruit Patrick Parnell has also moved from 51 to 37.
