Rory Sloane has extended his lead voting for the fans’ MVP after another best afield performance on Saturday night.

For the fifth time in the opening 12 rounds, the energetic Crows midfielder scored the highest points after starring in Adelaide’s exciting win over West Coast.

Sloane picked up 39 points, lifting his overall score to 251 – more than double second-placed Josh Jenkins (122).

Eddie Betts received 21 points for his five goal effort and Rory Laird also was recognised by the fans, earning 12 points. Next best was Scott Thompson (9).

Voting opens after every game and stays open until 4.30pm (SA time) on Tuesday.

Assign three votes to the player you deem to be the best Crows player, two votes to the second best player and one vote to the third best.

At the end of the voting period all the votes are added up but there are a maximum of 100 points per game that can be awarded to the entire team. Each player is then given a percentage of the total votes received to go towards their season tally.

At the end of the year the player who is at the top of the season leaderboard is crowned the Fans’ Most Valuable Player.
