Adelaide’s best three Dream Team players this year were the top scorers in the loss to West Coast on the weekend. Scott Thompson looked back to his best, top scoring with 97. The ever-reliable Patrick Dangerfield picked up 95 points whilst Richard Douglas finished with 93 points. Bernie Vince (93 points) and another strong performance from Ricky Henderson (89) rounded out the top five.

Thompson
Thommo scored an above-average score (97) for the second week in a row after picking up 28 touches and five tackles. The prolific midfielder looks set to end the season strongly and at $432,600 is a reasonably priced midfield option for your side.

Dangerfield
Danger had a quiet game by his high standards, but still picked up a respectable 95 points. He finished with 26 possessions and a goal to his name. Interestingly, it’s the third time this season he’s posted a score of 95.

Douglas
Dougy picked up his 11th score over 90 points for the season with a strong total of 93, which included five tackles and 22 possessions.

Vince
Bernie was on track for a mammoth score before being concussed early in the fourth quarter. A total of 21 disposals and four tackles helped him rack up 93 points. Vince has now consolidated his place in Adelaide’s top-five Dream Team players with a season total of 1056 points.

Henderson
Following the injury to Brent Reilly in Round 14, Henderson has found his feet in the Crows side, playing as the spare man in defence. Hendo had a game-high 10 marks and also accumulated 21 possessions on his way to 89 Dream Team points.

Trade or reconsider
Unfortunately, two Crows players will miss this week’s clash with Collingwood. Aidan Riley suffered a fractured leg and will be out for the rest of the season, while Shaun McKernan will miss a fortnight through suspension. Vince (concussion) will also be monitored throughout the week.
