Six Adelaide stars have been recognised for their stellar seasons by being named in the 2022 AFLW All Australian Squad.

Ebony Marinoff, Anne Hatchard, Ashleigh Woodland, Eloise Jones, Sarah Allan and Erin Phillips were all named in the squad, which was unveiled on Wednesday.

For Marinoff, it is the sixth time she has been selected in the extended 40-woman squad and the fifth time Allan has made an appearance.

Marinoff, who notched her 50th AFLW match in the Round Nine win over Collingwood, is the only Crow to have been named in the squad in every AFLW season.

The 24-year-old averaged 24.8 disposals, 10 contested, 7.5 tackles and 4.1 marks.

The reigning Club Champion also became the first AFLW player to amass 1000 disposals.

Hatchard finished Season Six with an average of 24.5 disposals, 6.9 marks, 3.8 tackles and 10.9 contested possessions.

Jones has become one of the competition’s best wingers and her selection in the AFLW Squad comes after she was named in the AFLW Players’ Association’s final AFLW 22Under22 team.

The 22-year-old only missed one minor round match this past season, averaging 14.8 disposals, 5.8 contested possessions, 3.3 marks and 2.6 tackles.

Woodland cemented her spot as the League’s most potent forward in front of the big sticks, claiming the leading goal kicker award with 19 majors, to go with an average of 8.9 disposals.

Allan has been a pillar in defence for the Crows this season, averaging 5.5 intercept possessions, 2.8 rebounds in defensive 50 and 11.5 disposals.

Phillips is included in the squad for a second season in a row after missing out on selection in 2020 due to an injury-marred year.

In 2022, the two-time League Best and Fairest winner averaged 17.7 touches, including 7.4 contested, and kicked six goals.

The AFLW All Australian Selection Panel includes Nicole Livingstone (Chair) Andrew Dillon, Laura Kane, Brad Scott, Sam Virgo, Narelle Smith, Kelli Underwood, Sarah Black, Megan Waters and Tim Harrington.

The final All Australian team will be announced at the W Awards on Tuesday, April 5, along with the winner of the Rising Star, Mark of the Year, Goal of the Year and the 2022 League Best and Fairest.
