Adelaide Football Club Major Partner and this week’s home match sponsor, the Toyota Motor Corporation Australia, has kindly donated the coin toss experience at Saturday’s game at AAMI Stadium to the Leukaemia Foundation.
Yekta Najmi, 15, who suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), is part of the Leukaemia Foundation and was chosen as the recipient of Toyota’s generosity.
The Najmi family became involved with the Foundation in 2011. Their family holiday was cut short after Yekta was diagnosed with ALL.
Yekta’s mother, Parvin, said the experience at Adelaide’s clash with Hawthorn would definitely lift her son’s spirits. Yekta visited AAMI Stadium on Friday with his mother, uncle and brother to meet the Toyota Ambassadors and in particular his favourite player Patrick Dangerfield.
“It will be the first time I have ever been on the stadium, I can’t wait” Yekta said.
Felicity Henshaw, Toyota Marketing & Customer Experience Manager said: “As major partner and home match sponsor for this weekend’s game, Toyota is proud to support the Leukaemia Foundation by donating this opportunity. We hope Yekta has a fantastic time.”
