Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch is a late withdrawal from Saturday’s SANFL clash with Norwood due to a leg injury.

Crouch reported discomfort in his quad on Wednesday and the decision was made after the SANFL captain’s run on Friday that he would miss the game against the Redlegs at Coopers Stadium.

“Matt had a tight quad on Wednesday and it hasn’t recovered for him to get through a fitness test today so he won’t play this weekend,” Adelaide High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.

“He will be further assessed on Monday.”

Crouch has been replaced in Adelaide’s selected team by Mitch Johnson.
