Scans have cleared Crows utility Stevie-Lee Thompson of any structural damage after she injured her back against Essendon at Unley Oval on Saturday.

“Stevie suffered a back spasm in the fourth quarter and didn’t finish the game,” Adelaide Head of Women's Football Phil Harper said.

“She has scans yesterday and structurally everything is sound which is good news.

“However, she will be out of the side for a week or two to ensure she is fully recovered.”

Midfielder Hannah Munyard is expected to return from a hip injury which has sidelined her for the opening three rounds.

“Hannah will do full training this week and provided she gets through, she will be available for selection this week,” Harper said.

In further good news, defenders Najwa Allen and Sarah Allan are both tracking well in their return from hamstring injuries.

“Naj made some good progress last week which is really pleasing to see,” Harper said.

“And Sarah is hitting all her markers so far and progressing well.”

Injury List as of Tuesday, 19 September

Hannah Munyard (hip) test

Stevie-Lee Thompson (back) 1-2 weeks
