Adelaide midfielder Ebony Marinoff has finished fourth in the 2023 AFLW Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award.

The 25-year-old has been a consistent force in the Crows’ midfield this season, polling in all but one game to finish, with a career-high 64 votes.

Announcing the final two rounds of voting on Thursday, Marinoff received seven and five votes in respective wins over North Melbourne and West Coast, to rise into sole fourth place after sharing the position with Richmond’s Monique Conti after Round Eight.

Highlights of her 2023 campaign included a perfect 10 against reigning premier Melbourne in Round Six, nine votes against the GWS in Round Four and eight votes in the Round One Showdown win over Port Adelaide.

Three-time Club Champion Anne Hatchard was the only other Crow to finish in the top 20, polling 38 votes from nine matches.

North Melbourne midfielder Jasmine Garner took out the award with 81 votes, while Sydney young gun Laura Gardiner (74 votes) and Brisbane’s Ally Anderson (65 votes) rounded out the top three.
