Three-time Premiership star Anne Hatchard has put pen to paper on a four-year contract extension to remain a Crow until at least the end of 2027.

Hatchard joins Niamh Kelly, Sarah Allan and Jess Allan in committing to the Club in the past week.

The three time All-Australian produced another outstanding campaign in 2023, averaging a career-high 26.4 disposals, 5.7 tackles and 4.3 clearances.

An inaugural Crow, Hatchard is a three-time Club Champion and has played 74 games.

Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said the Club was delighted to secure Hatchard on a long-term extension.

“We are really pleased to have Anne sign on for another four years, she is such an important member of our team,” Harper said.

“She is one of our most consistent performers, finishing in the top three of the best and fairest for the past six seasons.

“Her work ethic and professionalism are elite, making her a fantastic role model for our younger players.”

Hatchard said it was an easy decision to re-sign, given the exciting future of the group.

“It was a no-brainer to sign on for four more years, I’ve built great connections with the staff and players over the years, and they have always had faith in me,” Hatchard said.

“With the young group of girls we’ve got, I’m just really excited to see where we can go in the next four years.

“We’ve got so much talent and I think we can be a really successful side so I can’t wait to push myself and everyone else to keep improving and hopefully lift that Premiership Cup soon.”

Hatchard will spend the off-season preparing to run the Louisiana Marathon to raise money for the Adelaide Crows Foundation’s Open Parachute program, which develops child and youth resilience to overcome the challenges life throws at them.
