Following another big AFLW season Crows players have been making the most of their off-season break.

Adelaide’s Season Eight ended in November with a Preliminary Final loss to North Melbourne then, less than a month later, the Club welcomed three new players to nest after the AFLW Draft.

There have also been several contract extensions during the off-season, but between all that, players have used the time to rest and recharge.

For some, that meant spending time with friends and family, while others have gone overseas.

Three-time Club Champion Anne Hatchard flew to Hawaii with wife Georgie for some R&R, before heading to Mexico, ahead of taking on the Louisiana Marathon on Saturday, January 13.

All-Australian Niamh Kelly enjoyed some nice weather in Cairns. She visited rainforests with her partner, Darragh, her sister Grace, and her partner, Andy, before returning home to Ireland to spend some time with family and friends.

Former Skipper Chelsea Randall and fiance` Marijana Rajčić celebrated their son Tomi’s first Christmas in style, wearing matching t-shirts.

Sarah Allan traded Adelaide’s muggy heat for the cool temperatures in the US with her partner Brock.

The three-time Premiership player visited Crypto.com’s Arena in Los Angeles and went to an LA Kings ice hockey match.


Back home, newly-crowned Club Champion Ebony Marinoff celebrated a very special someone’s 100th birthday.

While Caitlin Gould spent a weekend down the coast during the New Year break with a few teammates, including Sarah Goodwin, Maddi Newman, Chelsea Biddell, Zoe Prowse and Hannah Munyard.

Munyard, Gould, Biddell and Prowse also attended the Wildlands Festival - a music festival hosted at Adelaide’s Ellis Park/Tampawardli.

The line-up included RÜFÜS DU SOL, G Flip and the Jungle Giants.
