Footy fans can get their fix of free Balfours baked goods this Friday night at the Crows’ home match against Essendon.

The Balfours giveaway is all part of the celebrations around the iconic brand’s partnership extension with the Adelaide Football Club, as well as the milestone of 30 years of working together.

Balfours – best known for its pies, donuts and iconic frog cakes – first signed on with the Crows in 1994 and will continue to support the Club’s AFL and SANFL teams until at least the end of 2028.

The partnership extension means Balfours will continue to have a strong presence at all Crows home matches, with supporters set to benefit from the ‘Balfours Battle’ which will be held during match breaks to put Balfours’ products in fans’ hands.

Forward Ned McHenry has also signed on as the player ambassador and will bring his energy to the partnership.

Members and fans wanting to get involved in the celebrations this Friday night at Adelaide Oval should head to the Balfours Kiosk (Eastern Stand Concourse) from 6.15pm where past Crows players will be shouting free Balfours footy pies and donuts for a limited time.

Crows CEO Tim Silvers said the Club was excited to build on the strong relationship the two organisations had formed across the past three decades.

“Watching the footy with a Balfours pie is an institution in SA, so we are delighted to continue our association with this much-loved brand,” Silvers said.

Balfours is committed to supporting local and this continues the business’ longstanding history of getting behind South Australian football.

“We’re extremely grateful for the backing that the entire Balfours team has provided the Club for the past 30 years, as well as the belief they have in our future.”

Balfours General Manager Hamish McLeay said the entire Balfours team was thrilled to see the continuation of the partnership as the organisations embark on their 30th year together.

“Over the years our collaboration has grown from strength to strength through shared values, mutual respect and community spirit,” McLeay said.

“As we embark on this milestone journey with the Crows, we are excited to introduce our new player ambassador Ned McHenry who is young, dynamic and injects even more energy into our team and showcases that there is nothing better than a pie and footy.

“Here's to an epic partnership!”

Balfours will also be proudly sponsoring the Club’s Round 14 match v Sydney with plenty of rewards for members and fans in the lead up to the match and on game day.
