Adelaide has recorded a clean sweep in the Round Eight coaches’ votes, following its 60-point win against Carlton on Saturday afternoon.
Skipper Jordan Dawson led the way, polling a perfect 10 for his prolific performance both in the midfield and up forward.
Around the ball, the Captain was immense, finishing with 22 disposals, eight tackles and six clearances, while in attack he made his presence felt with three goals and nine score involvements.
Dawson is now top of the coaches’ votes leaderboard, moving four clear of Collingwood’s Nick Daicos.
Dynamic midfielder Izak Rankine and blossoming defender Josh Worrell both received seven votes for their efforts against the Blues.
Rankine was at his damaging best throughout the night, and amassed 29 disposals, 12 score involvements, nine marks and two goals.
Worrell polled votes for the second-straight weekend with a stand-out game in defence, which included 23 disposals, nine intercept possessions and seven marks.
Third-year Crow Max Michalanney was awarded three votes for his career-high 27 disposal outing.
He also took a game-high 12 marks and had eight score involvements in what was a complete performance from the young defender.
Vice Captain Reilly O’Brien received two votes for his performance in the ruck, where he outdueled Carlton’s Tom De Koning to post 40 hit-outs to his counterparts’ 16.
Dashing defender Wayne Milera rounded out the vote getters, recording one for his 27 disposals and five marks.
