Kuwarna is set to play three prime-time games at Adelaide Oval in the final nine rounds of the AFL season.

The League today announced the fixture for Rounds 16-23 which will see Kuwarna host Collingwood and Hawthorn under lights at Adelaide Oval.

The Club will host its home Showdown under Saturday night lights in Round 20, with the only way for non-members to secure a seat being to buy a Showdown membership

As previously announced, the Club’s Round 18 clash with the Western Bulldogs has been moved from Mars Stadium in Ballarat to Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

Kuwarna’s last nine games of the season will include five home games, two games at Marvel, one trip to the MCG and one game at Optus Stadium in Perth.

Kuwarna CEO Tim Silvers said the Club was pleased with its fixture which was a win for fans who have already turned out in big numbers at Adelaide Oval this season.

“We have some big games in big time slots and they will be big occasions for our members and fans at Adelaide Oval,” Silvers said.

“To host Hawthorn in Friday night footy in Round 21 and then Collingwood on a Saturday night in Round 23 is a great result.

“We are equally pleased by the opportunity to play in front of our Victorian members and fans at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, having avoided a regional road trip to Ballarat where Mars Stadium is operating with a reduced capacity due to construction works.

“While we always push for Showdowns to be played in marquee timeslots like Thursday or Friday night, we are glad that it’s at least been given Saturday night under lights.”
