Kuwarna has added three players to an extended squad ahead of its match against Waalitj Marawar (West Coast) at Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon.
Sid Draper, Billy Dowling, and Luke Pedlar have been named in the 26-man squad, which will be trimmed to a 23-man team on Friday.
First-year midfielder Draper featured in the Club’s first seven matches of the season and was a travelling emergency for last weekend’s game against Collingwood at the MCG.
Dowling and Pedlar, meanwhile, could play in their first AFL matches for 2025 if selected in the final team.
Sam Berry is also included in the squad after being named as the side's substitute for last weekend's game against Collingwood.
The match against Waalitj Marawar marks week two of the League’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round, paying tribute to all past and present First Nation players.
Kuwarna will again don its First Nations guernsey, designed by former player and Wirangu man Graham Johncock and Wirangu artist Aunty Christine Tschuna.
The two clubs will take part in a gift exchange ceremony before the first bounce.
Kuwarna will hand over a red gum fluted shield, designed by Indigenous artist Patrick Ferguson, and thanks to BHP.
Pre-game will also have added significance with fan favourite Eddie Betts returning for a special celebration of Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
The Eddie Betts Foundation (EBF) Youth Talent Academy will play against students from Sports College SA, which is a partner of Kuwarna’s community programs, in a Showcase Game as a curtain raiser.
Kuwarna will name its final team on Friday at 4.30pm (ACST).
Kuwarna faces Waalitj Marawar at Adelaide Oval on Sunday at 12.40pm.
