Five Crows have polled AFLCA coaches’ votes following Adelaide’s thrilling Round 13 five-point  victory against reigning premier Brisbane.

Irish defender Mark Keane continued his stand-out season with another solid display, polling five votes from the coaches. 

Keane played a key role in Adelaide’s ability to restrict the Lions to just eight goals, while also having an influence on the Crows’ transition into attack with nine intercept possessions. 

Vice Captain Ben Keays recorded four votes for his influence across half-forward.

The former Lion was pivotal in his team kicking a winning score, as he booted three goals and had eight score involvements, to go with 20 disposals and five tackles.

Skipper Jordan Dawson received three votes for his 18 disposals, 11 tackles and four marks. 

Dawson, who sits third on the overall leaderboard, was particularly impressive in the final quarter, where he racked up six touches, three score involvements and kicked a crucial goal.

Defensive duo Rory Laird and Josh Worrell rounded out the vote-getters with one apiece.

Laird was productive off half-back, gathering a team-high 25 disposals at 76 per cent efficiency, to go with nine intercept possessions and four marks. 

Meanwhile Worrell continued his career-best campaign with an 18 disposal, 10 intercept possession and six mark outing against the Lions.
