Adelaide forward Josh Rachele has received a Round 13 NAB Goal of the Year nomination.

The 22-year-old was rewarded for his efforts during the second quarter of the match against Brisbane at Adelaide Oval, when he kicked truly along the boundary line.

Rachele laid a brilliant tackle, and was awarded a free kick for holding the ball on the tightest of angles.

He calmly went back and kicked from just inside the 50m arc, with the ball sailing through the big sticks.

Rachele finished the match with three goals, nine pressure acts, and five score involvements.

Voting closes on Thursday, June 12, at 2.30pm (ACST).
