Adelaide will line up in two pre-season practice games as part of its preparations for the 2025 AFLW Season.

The League released the AFLW trial games fixture on Wednesday, slating the Crows’ to face Port Adelaide in a match simulation at Alberton Oval on Saturday, July 26, at 11am.

The format, number of players, game length and number of breaks for the match simulation will be be agreed upon by the competing teams.

It will kick off a big day for the Club, with the Crows’ SANFL side taking on Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, before the AFL sides clash in Showdown 58.

Adelaide’s AFLW team will then take on Melbourne in a practice match at Thomas Farms Oval (Unley Oval) on Sunday, August 3, at 11am.

A squad of 26 players, including two emergencies, will be named for the practice match against Melbourne, with no interchange cap.

The practice game will include four, 15-minute quarters, plus time-on.

The practice game against the Demons will be open to the public and free for Members and fans to attend.

Adelaide’s 2025 AFLW campaign kicks off with a clash against St Kilda at RSEA Park on Sunday, August 17, at 1.40pm (ACST).
