Adelaide has made one change ahead of its Round 16 match against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.
The Crows, who will return to the field after having the bye last week, cut their 26-man squad down to a 23 on Friday afternoon, naming midfielder James Peatling as the only inclusion.
Peatling comes back into the team after missing Adelaide’s Round 14 match against Hawthorn due to suspension.
Forward Luke Pedlar failed to get through a fitness test and will not feature in this weekend’s game, after suffering a corked quad during the clash against the Hawks.
Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said Peatling had impressed since coming across to the Crows from GWS during the off-season and was a welcomed addition to the team.
“James has really built his form and importance across the season,” Kelly said.
“What had been forecast with his recruitment is what he is delivering upon - aggression in pursuit of the ball and opponent and an ability to take the ball from inside to outside of the contest.
“We have been refreshed by the break and are looking forward to getting back into the rhythm of the season, and centring our focus on what is right in front of us.
“That resumes with the Tigers at the ‘G whose experienced players are leading the way and have developing talent that is exciting.”
The Crows will name their substitute one hour before the first bounce.
Chayce Jones, Zac Taylor, and Chris Burgess move from the 26-man squad to the emergencies.
Adelaide takes on Richmond at the MCG on Sunday at 2.45pm (ACST).
The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide, Fox Footy and Kayo.
