Adelaide has made one change ahead of its Round 17 game against Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Forward/midfielder Zac Taylor comes into the side, moving off the extended bench and into the final team of 23.

Taylor will feature in his first AFL game since Round 11, earning a recall following strong form with the Crows’ SANFL side.

He recorded 18 disposals against South Adelaide, 17 against Central District, and 15 to go with four goals in last weekend’s win against North Adelaide.

“Zac played seven AFL games straight between Rounds Five and 11, and in last week's SANFL game against North Adelaide we saw a return to the best that he has to offer,” Adelaide Head of Football Adam Kelly said.

“His class, decision making and execution with ball in hand were on show at a level we have become accustomed to with Zac.

“But it was his work rate, desire to get after the opposition and diligence to his role that really impressed.”

Forward Lachlan Murphy has been omitted.

Murphy has been named on the emergency list alongside Chris Burgess and Hugh Bond.

The Crows will name their substitute one hour before the first bounce.
