Adelaide forward Josh Rachele has successfully undergone surgery on his knee following a Posterior Capsular tear.
Following scans and consultation on Monday, Rachele underwent surgery on Tuesday and is now recovering.
“Josh’s surgery today went really well,” Crows High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.
“We’ll be a bit clearer on timelines (for a return) in a couple of weeks.
“We’re hoping he’ll be back as soon as possible and that will depend on how his rehab goes.”
Midfielder Matt Crouch could return next week as he re-joins main training with the squad.
“Matt is running really well,” Burgess said.
“He’ll be involved in main training tomorrow and assuming he gets through that well, he’ll be available for next week.”
Tall duo Tyler Welsh and Toby Murray are both expected to be around two weeks away.
“Tyler is doing a mountain of work and will be integrated into training either later this week or early next,” Burgess said.
“Toby Murray is running well and not experiencing any pain while running on grass.
“He’s getting through a lot of work and is about 1-2 weeks away."
