Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch will make his return to football this weekend with the Crows SANFL side, after overcoming a hip injury.

Crouch has been named in the team, which will face West Adelaide in the annual Neil Kerley Memorial Match at Hisense Stadium on Saturday.

The on-baller has not featured for the Crows since their Round Eight AFL match against Fremantle, when he was subbed off at the end of the third quarter.

Other AFL players included in the line-up are Sid Draper, Karl Gallagher, Billy Dowling, Brodie Smith, Charlie Edwards, Lachlan Sholl, James Borlase, Oscar Ryan, Lachlan McAndrew, Lachlan Murphy, and Harry Schoenberg.

SANFL-listed players named are Kieran Strachan, Will Crane, Jay Boyle, Skipper Jack Madgen, Blake Drury, Ned Atkinson, Hugh Haysman, Cam Taheny, Harry Boyle, Jay O’Leary, Austin McDonald, and Andrew McPherson.

The match will be the third instalment of the Neil Kerley Memorial Match.

Kerley had a profound impact on both Clubs, as he led the Bloods to premierships in 1961 (captain-coach) and 1983 (coach) and played a vital role in the Crows’ inception to the AFL as the inaugural Football Manager.

The Crows will also wear black armbands to honour Crows Life Member Bob Shoolbread and AFL Hall of Famer Barrie Robran.

Adelaide faces West Adelaide at Hisense Stadium on Saturday at 2.30pm.
