Two-time Adelaide AFLW Premiership star Eloise Jones will make her long-awaited return to competitive footy in a match simulation against Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Saturday.

The Crows will face the Power at 11am, giving players a chance to put what they have trained during pre-season into practice.

Jones injured her right Achilles during the Crows’ Round Three win against Hawthorn last year and missed the remainder of the 2024 campaign.

But after successfully ticking off her rehab goals, the leadership group member has been included in the match simulation squad.

Co-Captains Ebony Marinoff and Sarah Allan will lead the squad, with fellow leaders, Anne Hatchard, and Jess Allan also named.

Newcomers India Rasheed, Hannah Ewings, Grace Kelly, Christina Leuzzi, and Kayleigh Cronin are also set to feature in the trial game.

The match will be played across four, 22-minute quarters, with no interchange restrictions.

It will kick off a big day for the Club, with the Crows’ SANFL side taking on Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval, before the AFL sides clash in Showdown 58.
