The return of first-year Crow Tyler Welsh headlines Adelaide’s SANFL team for its Round 16 clash against Norwood on Saturday afternoon. 

Welsh returns to the line-up for the first time since Round Seven, when he suffered a fractured toe against Sturt. 

The 18-year-old is one of 11 AFL-listed players named to take on the Redlegs this Saturday.

They include Sid Draper, Karl Gallagher, Toby Murray, Billy Dowling, Matt Crouch, Charlie Edwards, Lachlan Sholl, James Borlase, Lachlan Murphy and Harry Schoenberg

Ruckman Lachlan McAndrew comes out of the side, after suffering a broken jaw against Port Adelaide last week, while Chris Burgess, Luke Nankervis and Hugh Bond have been called up to the AFL squad. 

SANFL-listed players Cameron Taheny, Jay O’Leary, Stephen Tahana, Jaxon Bennett and Andrew McPherson come into the squad. 

Saturday’s match against the Redlegs marks Skipper Jack Madgen’s 50th SANFL appearance as a Crow. 

He becomes the third SANFL-listed player in the Club’s history to reach the milestone. 

Adelaide’s SANFL side takes on Norwood this Saturday at Norwood Oval, with the first bounce at 1.10pm (ACST).
