Adelaide Captain Jordan Dawson has received a Goal of the Year nomination for his classy second quarter finish against Hawthorn on Friday night.
The first of Dawson’s two second quarter goals, the 28-year-old won the ball just outside forward 50, took on two Hawthorn defenders and launched with his lethal left boot.
The ball sailed through, whipping the crowd into a frenzy, as the Crows went on to kick the next five goals of the game.
