Adelaide has named a squad of 24 for its Round One AFLW clash against St Kilda at RSEA Park on Sunday.
As announced on Thursday afternoon, a pair of AFLW debutants headline the extended squad, with first round draftee India Rasheed and Irish recruit Kayleigh Cronin set to play their first games.
Rasheed has been named on the half-forward flank, while Cronin takes her place on the half-back flank.
The Crows could also feature two Club debutants, with Grace Kelly and Hannah Ewings named on the extended bench.
Three-time premiership star Chelsea Randall is not available for selection due to a long-standing family commitment overseas.
Ewings and Kelly are joined on the eight-person interchange by Keeley Kustermann, Hannah Munyard, Brooke Boileau, Brooke Smith and Stevie-Lee Thompson, which will be cut to four when the Crows finalise their team at 4.30pm on Friday.
Senior Coach Matthew Clarke spoke to the media on Thursday about the challenge that faced his team this weekend.
“I think what they (St Kilda) have done over the last couple of years actually has been quite good,” Clarke said.
“They’ve skewed to be a bit more of an experienced side, and that’s given them a bit more stability and structure and as a result they’ve been really quite competitive and we’ve had some great games against them.
“Defensively they are very well organised and this season they’ve added some youth and high-end talent through the draft and trading.
“So they will be a tough assignment for us this week and we can’t wait for a cracking game on Sunday.”
Adelaide begins its 2025 AFLW season against St Kilda at RSEA Park this Sunday afternoon, with the first bounce at 1.40pm (ACST).
Fans can watch the match on Kayo, Fox Footy and Channel 7 in Adelaide.
