The Adelaide Football Club will challenge the sanction handed to defender Chelsea Biddell for staging in the Crows’ Round One loss to St Kilda on Sunday.
Biddell was given a $200 sanction ($100 with an early plea) for the incident in the fourth quarter.
The Tribunal will sit on Tuesday, August 19, after the Crows challenged the sanction via a written submission, with the outcome to be communicated on Wednesday, August 20.
Meanwhile, Crows ruck Jess Allan has accepted a sanction for striking St Kilda’s Rebecca Ott in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game.
The offence was graded as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, with a $250 sanction for an early plea.
