Six Kuwarna players caught the eyes of the coaches’ as the side recorded a thrilling 28-point victory against Geelong at Unley Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Reigning AFLCA AFLW Champion Player of the Year Ebony Marinoff led the way for her team, polling five votes for her efforts through the midfield.

The leading ball-getter on the ground, Marinoff recorded 31 disposals, to go with 10 tackles and four score involvements.

Speedy Irish winger Niamh Kelly secured four votes for 17 disposals, seven intercepts and 434 metres gained. 

Livewire forward Danielle Ponter polled three votes for her 15 disposals, eight tackles, six score involvements and two goals. 

Ruck Jess Allan received two votes for her 35 hit-outs, five score involvements and four clearances. 

Attacking duo Chelsea Randall and Eloise Jones rounded out the vote-getters with one apiece for their critical contributions around the sticks. 

Randall booted a game-high three goals in what was a standout performance in game 75, while Jones booted two final quarter majors to help Kuwarna get over the line.
