Adelaide forward Eloise Jones has received a Goal of the Year nomination for her classy finish from the boundary in the Crows’ Round Four clash against Brisbane.
As both sides vied for the first goal of the afternoon in some tense opening passages, it was the skill of Jones that broke the deadlock.
Gathering an errant handball intended for the boundary line, Jones picked up the ball cleanly and shook off her defender while running towards the goals.
Tucked in the pocket, the dynamic forward had no choice but to have a shot, and expertly bended the ball though the big sticks.
Jones’ nomination is the Club’s first of the 2025 season.
