Adelaide key forward Caitlin Gould could miss up to two months after breaking her wrist in the first quarter of Sunday’s 21-point win over Hawthorn at Frankston Oval.

Gould was taken to hospital for scans, which confirmed the break in her left wrist. She was able to return to Adelaide with the team on Sunday night and will undergo surgery on Monday night, after which a clearer picture of her return to play will be made.

Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said Gould consulted a surgeon on Monday morning, with surgery scheduled for later in the day.

“Typically, these injuries are six to eight weeks,” he said.
