SANFL: Nankervis a finalist for Goal of the Year

Adelaide utility Luke Nankervis has been recognised as a finalist for the 2025 SANFL Goal of the Year.

Nankervis was nominated for his stylish checkside finish in the first quarter of the Crows’ Round 14 victory against West Adelaide.

The 22-year-old’s skill and footy IQ was well and truly on display against the Bloods, as he expertly roved the ball off a pack, evaded a tackle and quickly flushed a perfect checkside.

Nankervis’ goal is one of five finalists for the 2025 SANFL Goal of the Year, with the winner to be revealed during the coverage of the Grand Final this Sunday.

Fan voting for the SANFL Goal of the Year closes on Friday, September 19, at 9pm.
