Chris Burgess is Adelaide’s 2025 SANFL Best and Fairest winner, after being awarded the medal at the Club Champion event on Saturday night.

The forward was instrumental in Adelaide’s State League campaign, lining up in 18 games (16 out of 19 minor rounds, plus two finals).

The 29-year-old finished the season with 56 goals, which included a seven-goal haul against North Adelaide in Round 11, as well as four goals in five separate matches.

Burgess also averaged 11.96 disposals and 5.4 marks in 2025.

Meanwhile, Crows development player Jay Boyle claimed the 2025 Dean Bailey Award, winning it for a third time.

The award was created in honour of the late Dean Bailey, as a tribute to his passion for nurturing young footballers.

The Dean Bailey Award recognises the Club’s most impressive SANFL development player and is judged on performance, dedication to training and overall commitment to the team.

Boyle featured in 20 SANFL games for the Crows this year, averaging 15.6 possessions, 5.6 tackles, and three clearances.

The 27-year-old previously claimed back-to-back Dean Bailey Awards in 2021 and 2022.
