Hannah Munyard and Caitlin Gould are expected to rejoin main training this week after overcoming a broken ankle and broken wrist, respectively.

Munyard broke her ankle in Round One and Gould broke her wrist in Round Five, but both have rehabilitated their injuries and are chances to return to play in the coming weeks.

Crows Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said Munyard could take some part in Saturday’s scrimmage match in Melbourne as she nears a return to play.

“We’re happily surprised that after ruling Hannah out for the season she is eyeing a return,” he said.

“Her recuperative powers have been unbelievable; she will join main training this week and if she gets through that, then she may play scrimmage.”

Harper said Gould was a slight chance to play in Round 10’s game against North Melbourne but was more likely to eye a return in Round 11’s Showdown.

Chelsea Randall, who is recovering from concussion, continues to be closely monitored.

Injury list (as of Tuesday, October 14):
