Young Crows duo Brooke Boileau and Sarah Goodwin have been rewarded for breakout seasons with selection in the 2025 AFLW AFLPA 22Under22 team.

The pair has been named on the interchange in a side that features the AFLW’s brightest young talent.

Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said it was exciting to see the pair receive recognition for their improvement this season.

“We’re not a Club that wants to bottom out, so we need to keep bringing in young talented players, and both Brooke and Sarah fit that bill perfectly, and to see them selected in this team is very exciting,” Harper said.

“Both of those players are playing new roles in the midfield this year and both have adapted really well.

“We are very pleased for both of them, that they have been able to make big strides in their game this year, as it is a big responsibility to play in the midfield.

“We are really excited by the crop of exciting young talent we’ve got coming through, and Brooke and Sarah are critical parts of that.”

Boileau has featured in every match in her second AFLW season, and improved throughout the campaign, averaging 10.2 disposals and 4.8 tackles per game.

She was also recognised as the Round Seven Rising Star nominee after a career-high 17 disposals against Sydney at Unley Oval.

Goodwin has cemented herself as a key cog in the Crows’ midfield this season, averaging an impressive 18.5 disposals and 4.5 tackles per game.
