Adelaide recruit Finnbar Maley arrived at the Club for the first time this week, following a trade from North Melbourne in October.
To help Crows Members and supporters get to know him, the 22-year-old forward and former basketballer answered a few questions asked by fans over Instagram.
See Maley’s answers below.
Q. How do you keep the mo so luscious?
(@sarahlkbrandford)
A lack of self-care (laughs). I need to trim it more to be honest, it gets caught in my mouth when I eat, which is a pain, so that’s probably how I know it’s getting too long.
Q. Can you please tell us about your block (in basketball) on Filthy?
(@joshrachele)
First play, Filthy sort of drove to the basket, and had an open lane, and I thought ‘I’ve got to make an attempt here’ because I was (his) direct man opponent. I kind of came across, and didn’t think I was going to get there, but managed to get a finger on it before he was jamming. I’m sure it looked pretty impressive.
Q. Who are you most looking forward to playing with?
(@charlotte_griffiths101)
Rachele - Josh is a great bloke, too. Jordan Dawson, Izak Rankine, and Tex - there’s a lot.
Q. What song will you choose for your goal celebration?
(@heidiaylen)
I am really loving Old Man by Neil Young
Q. Parmi or parma?
(@mattiejallen)
Parma
Q. Why tricolour army?
(@jamesdelbono18)
Tom Lynch had said the ‘tri colours’. (He’s) obviously a legend here and he said ‘congratulations on the tri colours’, so I thought ‘is that what everyone says?’
That’s the inspiration, I didn’t really know to be honest.
It was that or ‘Crom’, but it seems a bit informal.
Q. What is your favourite band?
(@sheany2000)
“I like a bit of Lime Cordiale (an Australian pop rock group). They were probably my favourite growing up, and then I’ve sort of transitioned into a band called Alice In Chains.
Q. Would you rather fight a horse-sized duck, or 100 duck-sized horses?
(@ourfeaturepresentation)
Ducks are scary, man. You know when you are walking down the path and a mother duck sort of rears at you and goes? I don’t think I’d want to fight anything horse-sized, so I’d take the 100 duck-sized horses, but that would also be scary.
