Adelaide has finalised a trade to secure experienced Richmond midfielder Grace Egan.

The 25-year-old joins the Crows in exchange for Pick 38 in this year’s Telstra AFLW Draft.

Originally selected by Carlton with Pick 13 in 2019, the 170cm ball-winner has played 66 AFLW games for both the Blues and the Tigers, finishing in the Top 5 of Richmond’s best and fairest count in two of the past three seasons.

In 2025 Egan overcame a serious illness which hospitalised her for three weeks, to play nine games for the season, averaging 20 disposals, four tackles and three clearances.

Crows Head of AFLW Phil Harper said he was thrilled to welcome Egan to the Club.

“Grace has played at a consistently high level for a long period of time and still has so much growth in her game,” he said.

“She will bring more strength and experience to our midfield.

“Grace showed incredible resilience and work ethic to get back to playing football this season and finished the year particularly well.

“We are excited about the impact Grace can have both on and off the field.”

Adelaide now holds Picks 4, 39 and 50 in the 2025 AFLW Draft, which takes place on Monday, December 15.

The AFLW Trade Period closes on Wednesday, December 10.
