Adelaide wishes key position player Zoe Prowse all the best for the future after finalising a trade with Essendon that sees the Club further bolster its draft hand.

The Crows have received Pick 13, Pick 60 and Essendon’s future Third Round Pick in exchange for Prowse, who heads to the Bombers along with Adelaide’s Pick 50 and a future Fourth Round selection.

The trade means Adelaide now has two First Round draft picks with the Club looking to strengthen its list in Monday’s AFLW Draft.

Prowse played 47 games for Adelaide since debuting in 2022 (Season 6), claiming the Club’s Best Defensive Player awards in 2023 and 2024.

Crows Head of AFLW Phil Harper said Prowse, 22, had made a huge impact on the Club both on and off the field.

“Zoe has been a great individual, a hardworking and versatile footballer and an even better teammate,” he said.

“Her versatility in being able to play in the backlines or the forward line made her a real asset to the team, but we respect her desire to seek further opportunity interstate.

“We wish her well as she continues her football career in Victoria.”

Adelaide now holds Picks 4, 13, 39 and 60 in the 2025 Telstra AFLW Draft, which is on Monday, December 15.
